The Terminator is back on the big screens in USA after 40 years. Cinemark, a very modern and clean movie theater chain brings James Cameron’s real debut movie back. I went to the screening in New Jersey and I have to say it was surreal to see the first film on the big screen in big chain movie theater. Like for any movie playing on theaters, it was preceeded by movie trailer for the upcoming films, which kinda built the anticipation. It was exciting, it was cool. It was a fantastic experience and the sound was just mind blowing. This was the first James Cameron movie I saw as a youngster, and I never thought Id be seeing it in theaters 36 years later with my wife. (To read about my experience on seeing the movie for the first time back in 1990, go HERE)
Originally there was suppose to be one screening for that day, but it sold out and another screening was added

As Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro announced during Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, we’re venturing further into Pandora with a new destination at Disney California Adventure. While Pandora—The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is based on Oscar-winner James Cameron’s “Avatar” film, this new destination draws inspiration from “Avatar: The Way of Water” and upcoming Avatar films to bring Pandora to life in a brand-new way.
